Tardiness disrupts the flow of instruction and diverts the attention of both the teacher and fellow students. Upon entering the classroom, it is courteous to stand and greet the teacher, fostering a respectful atmosphere.
Maintaining proper posture is stressed, discouraging actions like leaning forward or crossing legs in front of the teacher. Active engagement is encouraged, urging students to listen attentively, respond to questions, and seek clarification when needed. However, the emphasis lies on respectful questioning rather than attempting to embarrass the teacher.
Disruptive behavior, such as shouting, whispering, or throwing objects, is strictly discouraged. Activities like reading unrelated material, using mobile phones, or chewing gum are considered inappropriate during class time. Communication with the teacher should be done individually and with patience, avoiding simultaneous requests.
Respecting the teacher’s authority is crucial; students are advised to remain in the classroom even if the teacher briefly leaves. Additionally, a warm reception for new teachers is emphasized, urging students to refrain from comparing them to previous instructors.
